The Project Challenge
The living room receives limited daylight due to its central position within the house. The homeowner wanted a solution that would route daylight from the roof into the room without extensive changes to the interior walls or major roof alterations.
Our Solution
We installed two VELUX TCR 14″ sun tunnels through the home’s flat roof. Each sun tunnel included four feet of rigid tubing to carry daylight from the roof opening into the living room. The work covered labor and materials necessary for the complete installation of both units.
The Finished Project
With the two VELUX TCR 14″ sun tunnels in place, the living room now receives daylight delivered through the roof-mounted units. The homeowner selected this sun tunnel approach specifically to bring light into the room’s central area, and the installation was completed using the specified rigid tubing for each run.
