Addressing the Flashing Without Replacing the Skylight

The homeowner reported water at the edge of the existing skylight shaft. SkySpec evaluated the skylight, its flashing and the surrounding slate roof to determine where the work needed to be focused.

The existing skylight remained serviceable, so the project focused on renewing the flashing while working carefully around the existing slate roofing rather than replacing the skylight itself.
